Abstract
  • Many congregations are caught between despair and hope when viewing their future. At such a crossroads they may lose the joy of the adventure of faith alongside any deeper understanding of what happens in worship. This project focuses on such a congregation. The project explores how a theology of play may deepen understandings of worship and allow for the recover of a joyful attitude about a church's life together. Particular experiences of a focus group are shared that demonstrate this is indeed possible.
