Abstract
  • This thesis reviews the traditional Christian understanding of saving faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ and how that knowledge impacts spiritual maturation in the life of a Christian. Various faith development paradigms are reviewed and analyzed. The research is then applied to the pedagogy of an introductory level university religious studies course in the area of Holy Scriptures. Classroom methodology is presented with lesson plans, PowerPoint slides, and suggested teaching implications.
