Abstracto

The purpose of this project was to establish a supervision system for a selected group of staff members in Shatin Baptist Church. This supervision system incorporated the core elements of McCarty's model of a supervised ministry. Eight participants were selected from the staff team. They went through five training sessions and attained supervision sessions for four months. Most of the participants mastered the core elements of this supervision system. In turn, they modified and applied it in supervising their staff members. In this system, the three most effective means of supervision were situational leadership methods, supervisory conferences, and covenants of learning.
