- Abstract
- This thesis is an attempt to understand if change-related conflict can be minimized based on the traits of the senior pastor and/or the traits of a congregation. In order to determine this, the researcher created an online questionnaire that was completed by pastors from different regions of the United States, and the researcher also conducted face-to-face interviews with pastors who have implemented numerous changes in the congregations they lead without creating significant conflict. The insights from this thesis have the potential to significantly help those individuals who are planning to implement change in the congregations they serve.
