- Abstract
- This project seeks to develop an ecumenical network within the American Baptist Churches USA. This network would work with the Office of Cooperative Christianity in Valley Forge, Pa, to disseminate information and resources to regions and congregations, and sponsor and support ecumenical programs that are beyond the financial resources of any single region. Based on historical research, surveys, and interviews, the project proposes that such a network would coordinate effectively all the ecumenical efforts in the denomination. Such a network is needed because none exists at present.
