Abstract
  • The author argues that a primary emphasis on the transcendence of God is necessary to biblical worship. He demonstrates that the immanence of God is without meaning apart from the Bible's teaching on the transcendence of God. Through use of biblical exegesis and the paradigm of theological reflection the project was applied to the author's local church context to increase the emphasis on the transcendence of God in their worship. A strategy was planned and initiated in the church with positive preliminary results.
