- Abstract
- There are an increasing number of church mergers. Very few resource materials are available on merging churches, and few, if any resources exist for church mergers involving White and non-White congregations. The author formulated guidelines for the process of merging through the examination and evaluation of two case studies of mergers between White and Asian American congregations, and information available through business, non-profit and church resources. The guidelines were sent to church leaders who have been involved or are currently involved in mergers between White and non-White congregations. This feedback was incorporated into the thesis.
