- Abstract
- One of the great challenges for all pastors, and certainly youth pastors, is to 'equip the saints for the work of the ministry' (Ephesians 4:12). If you are a youth pastor, this equipping certainly involves recruiting volunteer leaders. The goal of this project was to train three youth pastors in recruiting volunteer youth leaders using a four-phase strategy involving prayer, effective leadership team, worship service vision casting, and personal contacting. The conclusion reached in this project is the recruiting strategy espoused can be effective for any ministry, but the training used was in need of being strengthened.
