Abstract
  • This project tests the conviction that the Living Well United Methodist Church is a called community of the United Methodist Church toward a cross-cultural model in ministry. Through a project of developing a Bible study, proposing a retreat, organizing a Korean culture night, participating in a joint worship service and fellowship, celebrating a joint Christmas cantata, and publishing to witness for Jesus Christ, the Living Well United Methodist Church was well developed as a bilingual model church in the Korean American community. The vision for the church of 'vital congregation-faithful disciple' was accomplished through the manifestation of 'the way, the truth, and the life' in the formation of a United Methodist Church to 'celebrate God's grace and witness for Jesus Christ'.
