Abstracto

The project was designed to provide a teaching seminar on the challenging and potentially divisive issue of the permissibility of divorce and remarriage. Over the 8 weeks of the course students were exposed to biblical teachings on divorce and remarriage and how these teachings tend to be organized into biblical positions. While students were not compelled to embrace a particular position, they were encouraged to draw definite conclusions based upon teachings. Although addressing feelings of guilt, nearly all seminar participants felt their personal conclusions were more biblically grounded as a result of their participation.
