This study develops and applies a model for counseling separated couples. Called the Reconciling Steps Approach, the model seeks marital reconciliation of physically or emotionally separated couples through a process of counseling steps. The author envisions that this model will be used primarily for counseling married couples who are part of the Christian faith community.
