  • The thesis of the study is that in the development of membership training materials, guidelines can be developed for publication relating to theological adequacy, educational effectiveness, and denominational standards. Training materials were prepared, tested in class situations, and critiqued by people with expertise in the areas stated in the thesis. The study has shown that acceptability by the targeted audience and adequate educational quality are key factors for successful publication of materials. The value for the reader of this project will be found in the lesson material for training church members and the process discovered for publication of such materials.
