The Doctor of Ministry project began as a means to keep the central focus of the people of God on God and not on the building process. Four small groups came together for six weekly meetings to share their prayers and meditations with one another at Zion United Methodist Church, Kokomo, Indiana. Many shared a greater desire to serve Christ. These sharing times revealed that people encounter the Lord when they spend time praying and meditating. Their lives and their witness are changed when they encounter the living God.
