Abstract
  • This project centered on factors supporting a multi-staff ministry. The issue was the development of a resource which could aid staff members to work together in a spirit of cooperation and teamwork. United Methodism's 'quadrilateral court of appeal' was utilized as the hermeneutic, for those guidelines allow for variety in developing a teamwork style in ministry. Consideration was given to organizational theory and leadership styles. The model involved a questionnaire for staff members and a workshop. Evaluation of the process was included along with significant implications for staff relationships in this downtown congregation.
