  • The research sought to determine if people going from the business world into full time missions should be recruited, trained and placed on the field differently than those who went into mission straight out of college or seminary. The research was qualitative research on the effectiveness of SEND International's recruitment, training and placement of second career missionaries on the field. The results of the study found that second career missionaries have a unique set of values that require that they are recruited, trained and placed on the field differently than traditional missionaries.
