This project explores Christian grief. A series of three workshops was presented at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Shelby, Ohio, with the belief that Christian principles of grief assist the griever in the process of mourning. The author proposed that a relationship to Jesus with both personal and communal aspects will help in the overwhelming task of grief. By pre and post testing the author measures a baseline of both help received and the knowledge gained about the healthy Christian grief process. The text explores the interrelationship of theology, psychology and the role of the church in assisting those in grief.
