  • This project proposes to offer Bunker Hill United Methodist Church a foundation in 'ecotheology,' in order to lead the congregation to a deeper commitment to live in shalom, the peace of God. A series of learning events for children centers on storyteling, sharing stories about native American spirituality, the ecological crisis, and personal encounters to deepen connections with God, the creation, and others. The congregation designs and plants a meditation garden. The more people are connected to God and the earth, the more their lifestyles will reflect shalom.
