This project paper is a tentative draft for the first constitution and bylaws of this 200 year old church. Using a few topics of general interest to the congregation, pertinent points from the denominational standards and procedures were brought together and succinctly stated. Additionally, certain congregational rules and procedures are set forth. The ultimate purpose --after review by the session, discussion and adoption by the congregation--is to promote doing things 'decently and in order'.
