  • This project investigates the personalities of members of First United Methodist Church (Springfield, Ill) in order to discover patterns of response in listening to and applying the message of preaching. All personality types derived from the Myers-Briggs Personality Invenetory are drawn to contemporary material, and all Sensation types express a desire for clearly defined points of application.
