  • This project develops a concept of family spirituality that is informed by social Trinitarian theology. The author begins by critiquing James Dobson and Family Focus's concept of family and then constructs a more egalitarian and inclusive family spirituality. The Bible is brought into conversation with the social trinitarian theology of Moltmann and Boff and the icon of the Trinity by Andrei Rublev. The author narrates stories of contemporary families that demonstrate how Christian families can participate in the trinitarian community.
