Abstrait

Many persons hunger for a more vital experience of God. This practicum/project proposes that by exploring varied forms of prayer persons can deepen their relationships with God. The practicum/project was conducted in two retreat settings. The format of the retreats included discussion followed by opportunities for personal prayer. Four prayer experiences were offered. This practicum/project has indicated that there can be a positive relationship between exploring new forms of prayer and enhancing one's relationship with God. Participants reported a deepening sense of the presence of God as a result of the retreat experience.
