  • The church is a community of love, which can manifest love through three distinctive ways: the unity of service, redemptive love, and transformation of the congregation's attitudes, activities and feelings. The church can be more meaningful in people's lives when it is actually practicing congregational love. Congregational love has three balanced shapes: sharing, suffering and discipleship. Congregational love for newcomers is necessary for the local church to be open to and inclusive of new people. In this thesis the hidden challenge is to heal the blocking idea of the members before implementing a plan of action.
