  • This project developed a model designed to encourage pastors to embrace small group house church function within the traditional (or two-winged) church structure. The model looks into the biblical and historical context of the church as a relational community to discover life together as an extended spiritual family. The form and function of the church paradigm is traced from its biblical origins through the church's history to the present postmodern renewal. The strengths of other small group paradigm are examined as they relate to the restoration of all believers, the saints personal formation in Christ, and the community lifestyle.
