Abstract
  • This research was designed to emphasize the importance of the second generation leaders in the configuration of the Hispanic church in the northeast region of the United States. The focus of this project will be to design a conceptual and practical model of supervision, using the coaching and mentoring approach, to develop the second generation Hispanic church leaders in the following areas: the Christian vocation, ministerial identity, ministerial skills, theological understanding and spiritual formation. Prior to addressing this challenge the project attempts to fill the vacuum of information about the second genearation Hispanics and the identification of those elements that frame the leadership development of the Hispanic church in North America.
