Abstract

The project created an on-going taskforce of mid-south social agencies in Fort Worth, Texas, to address the issue of displacement of the poor. It provides supportive advocates of networking social agencies located in the area. The project includes two training sessions that seek to enable advocates to work more effectively with the poor. The project also includes a Social Agencies Resource List which provides information from area agencies on the services available, hours of operation, fees, and bi-lingual capabilities.
