Korea Television dramas have become popular among Korean Americans and Korean churches in this country. The purpose of this study, thus, was to understand how Korean pastors in northern California relate to Korean dramas in their ministry, particularly in their counseling and sermons. Two main questions guided this study: 1) To what extent do Korean pastors in northern California relate to the Korean dramas? 2) How do Korean pastors in northern California relate to the Korean dramas in their counseling and sermons?
