Abstracto

This ministry research project developed and implemented a teaching program on prayer. Chapter 1 described the goals, background, methodology, and meaning of prayer. Chapter 2 provided the biblical-theological rationale. The call to prayer, examples of prayer, and models of prayer were considered. Chapter 3 discussed the ministry aspect. It involved eight weekly sessions of instruction followed by five weeks devoted to the sharing of prayer. Chapter 4 described the research process. The study group, control group, research design, hypothesis, variables, and evaluative components were discussed. Chapter 5 involved an evaluation of the program. Insights were analyzed with regard to their applicability for future teaching programs.
