Abstrait

The purpose of this project was to develop a model for a district superintendent to use as a catalyst for change in local churches. The model is a future-driven strategic planning process that helps churches gain insights into the future and develop ministries that are forward-looking and hope-filled. Used in fourteen churches on the Adirondack District of the Troy Annual Conference (United Methodist Church), the results show creative change can occur. This project is part of a larger design in which the office of district superintendent is viewed as essential for denominational renewal.
