The purpose of this project was to develop a guide to assist pastors and church leaders in church building projects. I integrated my experience as a pastor and consultant for a church construction company with a review of contemporary literature and created a guide for church leaders. I then submitted the guide to thirteen experts for their review and input. The input from the experts resulted in a much improved guide. Their review also confirmed my assumption that more attention is given to the physical aspect of the building program than to the spiritual preparation for a building program.
