This thesis is a case study of the growth of a church plant. The author analyzes its rapid growth, its effect on local churches and its successes in reaching its target group of the formerly churched. Research includes a telephone survey compared to a survey 32 months earlier and interviews of pastors of the most affected churches. Research finds that the growth was impacted by the pastor's charisma and that 85.3 percent of the growth was transfer with less than 15 percent coming from the target group. Survey results of preferred characteristics of churches and evaluation of current churches are included.
