  • This project consists of a basic philosophy of ministry that addresses the questions about the church purpose, the product that it hopes to produce, the strategies for accomplishing its purpose and the methodologies it will use. The primary purpose of this project is not to argue the pros and cons of one method over another, but to gain ownership of discipleship principles by the leadership team of the church. The project consists of twelve lesson plans developed around the church's ministry values. The lessons were taught to the board of elders and a pilot group. Two evaluation tools (behavioral survey and decision-making survey) measured the leaders' ownership of the ministry values.
