Abstrait

The purpose of this project was to develop a pastor search guide for smaller membership congregations of Beech River Baptist Association in West Tennessee. The project director researched a sampling of existing pastor search documents and conducted interviews with church members currently or recently involved in the pastor search process for their church. These interviews provided insight into the interpersonal dynamics at work in the congregations involved and the procedures used in smaller member congregations. Additional study in curriculum theory helped in the development of a quality guide. The result was a pastor search guide for smaller membership congregations of Beech River Baptist Association.
