This is a report of the author's execution of his learning plan which was conceived to deal with a particular issue in parish ministry: the teaching function of the minister in the small congregation with regard both to particular subject matter, in this case a comprehensive view of the total Bible story, and to responsible teaching methodology. It is intentional in aiming to enable discernible growth in people's lives. Theologically this was done by drawing upon contemporary theology as story. Educationally this was done by adapting an experiential learning approach to teaching biblical material. The project was an intensive eight week Bible study for eight adults.
