  • The development of a ministry of han within the Korean-American context informed by its special sociocultural experience of han as marginalized ethnic minority people provides a practical example of the ministry of healing and hope in the midst of the conflict-causing realities. The social biography of the han, the Exodus event, and the life and ministry of Jesus the Galilean have profound implications for the ministry of hope. Its mission, as transforming agent, includes motivating people to participate in the process of han-resolution with a communal vision by utilizing its own unique experience of han as creative liminal potential for transforming the society.
