Abstract
  • Christian hospice patients as a group have a specific set of spiritual concerns in common. Those spiritual concerns may be considered to be fourfold: fear of God's punishment, reassurance of God's acceptance, reassurance of salvation, support in faith to deal with a life-threatening illness. The methodology of this project is centered on an approach to discovering data through the use of a survey instrument. The conclusion drawn from this project is that those who have dealt with their impending death from a terminal illness have moved beyond the need to find their own means of coping independently of God's care.
