The project is a report on a seminar presented to the churches of West Tennessee Presbytery of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. It covers the first two years of the joint ministry of the East Side and Highland Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Churches. The joint ministry is a multifaceted approach to the revitalization of small and middle-size churches that focuses on the prophetic role of the church in a changing society, the use of programming as a tool, the use of staff and volunteers in the small and middle-size church, and outlines the manner in which the joint ministry operates.
