This project used a modification of Thomas H Groome's 'shared praxis' to develop a program of discipleship for a group of selected students. Students were evaluated by empirical observation, that involved the student, a peer, and adviser, and the discipler, and reproducibility in a second small group. The students practiced relational skills and the spiritual disciplines of: daily prayer, Bible reading, time stewardship, group accountability and journal keeping. The discipler served as a mentor and as a model for the disciplines. The project demonstrated the positive results of having a discipler guide students through spiritual disciplines.
