  • In all the clamor surrounding 1 Timothy 2:11-12, Paul's instruction to 'let a woman learn' has been overshadowed. Yet, women's education in spiritual and biblical matters ought to be taught in the church to equip them for the Great Commission mandate. This thesis-project explores the effectiveness of an existing spiritual education curriculum in the form of a mentoring program for college women. The evaluator uses the positions of women's epistemological development proposed by Belenky and her colleagues as a basis for evaluation. The author also discusses various women of the Bible as they relate to the mentoring program and one's understanding of how the program ought to be restructured. The final outcome of the project takes the form of a proposal for a new women's ministry minor.
