- Abstract
- This study employed a mixed method of research design to study the subjective nature of God's communication in making his will known, especially in calling men and women to vocational ministry. Western culture's bias toward objectivity casts aspersion on the subjective evidences of a pastor's call. This often-unquestioned cultural predisposition causes many pastors to relinquish a stronger sense of calling, which, in turn, affects ministry endurance, joy in ministry, and a resistance to fleshly methods of ministry.
