Abstract
  • This project is an examination into the nature of civil religion at the Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, during the year 1986. It studies the form, content, and impact of civil religion upon the students and the college. Further, the work examines the roots and theological dimensions of civil religion and takes a careful look at the understanding of students and faculty-staff regarding the subject. A brief course of study is provided for sharpening the awareness and understanding of students on civil religion.
