Abstract
  • The purpose of this paper is to describe the spirituality found in the fellowship of Emotions Anonymous in the Anchorage, Alaska, area. This paper assumes that spirituality has to do with the whole being and examines existential elements of spirituality in a heterodox context. The method followed was based on an existential phenomenological research model. Responses to the request, tell me about your spiritual journey, were recorded and factored for themes. The evidence suggests that religious organizations have limitations which some individuals may need to move beyond as a part of their movement toward personal integration.
