This project proposes to answer the question, 'How or in what ways can living through the storms of life help a congregation renew its sense of purpose, meaning, and mission - missio dei?' It is a case study of members of a particular congregation who have lived through some storms in their lives and have experienced a sense of renewal and commitment to follow and serve Jesus Christ. The research discloses a keen awareness of the presence of God in the midst of three proposed phases of the storm and that missio dei occurs in each phase.
