Abstracto

In response to the apparent crisis in the traditional American church, and the need to assist struggling congregations, this project was designed to discover primary factors that appeared to be associated with congregations which experienced decline in worship participation, followed by turnaround, and then a sustained period of stability during which improved worship averages either remained constant or increased. A combination of quantitative and qualitative field research was conducted to achieve the goals of this project. As intended, key factors were identified that appeared to be associated with worship decline, turnaround, and then sustaining or increasing the positive gains.
