Abstrait

The immigrants from People's Republic of China represented a challenge in evangelism to the ministry of the Mandarin Baptist Church of Los Angeles. Their party-indoctrinated worldview presented obstacles in comprehending the gospel. There is a need for a training model to equip the Christians to understand their mentality and be able to present the gospel to them. This project is a twelve session hands-on training seminar. It provided a support structure for the participants to pray for and engage in evangelism. It motivated the participants with the biblical mandate for cross-cultural evangelism. It equipped them with the necessary knowledge for communicating the gospel. Post-training surveys confirmed the effectiveness of this model.
