The project relates the needs of the bereaved to the Order of Christian Funerals (1989). The ministry of consolation is stressed as a way of connecting ritual and pastoral care. Highlighted is the intersection of theology and psychology in parish bereavement and catechesis. Theological reflections are provided for a theology of a bereavement.
