This project proposes and prepares a culturally relevant course to teach the biblical doctrine of God in a Haitian seminary. Taking account of the tolerance of inequality--'power distance'--in Haitian culture, the course concentrates on biblical characters and their conceptions of God, in order to communicate a contextualized biblical understanding to Haitian seminarians.
