Abstract
  • This project proposes to help chemically dependent adults develop the necessary skills and tools to avoid relapse through the spiritual principles embodied in a Christ-centered, twelve-step program designed to move persons toward closer relationship with God. The project conducts this program for more than 13 weeks with 20 residents of Maroa Home (Fresno, Calif); nine participants make professions of faith, nine withdraw, and two continue the process.
