Abstrait

Equipping disciples for the work of the ministry was a model implemented at the Shiloh Baptist Church, El Paso, Texas to equip teachers in applying biblical principals to everyday life, developing attitudes necessary for life in the Christian community and prepare teachers to transmit faith practices to others. These spiritual practices were addressed through a strategically planned ten-session program consisting of meditations, lectures, and workshops. A pre and post assessment was developed to measure attitudinal changes in areas specified. There was good improvement noted in the focal areas therefore the goals of this model were achieved.
