  • This project consists of three parts. Part one develops a theology of lay ministry based on the premise that a Christian is a minister by virtue of his or her baptismal promises and that lay ministry is the living out of those promises. Part two develops a plan for lay ministry training and accrediting which is based on the theology and which uses both church and community resources. In part three, three evaluators outline their critiques of the proposed plan.
