Abstract
  • The project was an attempt to discover whether or not a covenant group would motivate participants to a more regular and consistent practice of certain spiritual exercises. The premise was that daily practice of the spiritual exercises promote spiritual growth which eventuates in a greater satisfaction in one's spiritual life. A pretest/posttest method was used to measure both the regularity of practice and participant attitude toward the spiritual exercises. Significant change in practice and attitude was discovered in some exercises indicating a degree of success for the project.
